Basic Plot
If you want to learn more, just read it! This won't contain any big spoilers; it's just an overveiw of the first few chapters.
The main character is Yume, an average girl living on a 'modern' futuristic Earth. Her parents died in a plane crash when she was very young, so she lives with her older brother Kazuki and her best friend, Kita. After a 'mysterious encounter with a seemingly familiar' boy, a group of people attempt to take over Earth and kidnap Yume. She manages to escape (with the help fo the boy) and finds herself on a Foundation ship to safety, without Kazuki or Kita. :[
